This Mod adds "Fying Dragons" to Morowind!
It should NOT interfere with any other mod.
This add-on is meant to be used with my other Morrowind mod "G I A N T S" but it
can also be used by itself.

Summery:

Dragons are now being spotted in Morrowind. It would appear they're attracted
to Dagoth Ur's recent rumblings. The encounters have been rare but it seems they
have found a home in the Ashlands and the turbulent Molag Amur regions.
They are known to breath FIRE and their fiery breath is inexhaustible.
They are completely at home in the skies soaring for hours at a time.
They are the new apex predators of the region and can consume anything
alive in their path. They are huge and no other creature can match their size.
Dragons have been said to have been "conceived of fire" so its no wonder that
their lairs are active volcanic areas!

***OTHER INFO*****

This mod does not interfere with any other mod that adds to or changes MW's original
creatures so you can use it in conjunction with my other mod "Passive Healthy Wildlife".
It is always best to use this mod with the latest patched version of Morrowind.

Dragons are tough so you will not see them until you reach level 16.

If you just started playing Morrowind and really want to see a Dragon right away, just go to
"Uvirith's Grave" in Molag Amur there is one that lives around there for all level players.
But be warned if you are below level 16 - run like your life depends on it...because it does!

Dragons are RARE (and thankfully so) so don't be discouraged if you go for long stretched of time
without seeing one. If you keep trekking in the areas where they've been spotted your bound to
see them eventualy.

CREDITS: The dragon model I used was the one in the "Morrowind Dragon v2.02" test plug-in by
Quentin Preik.

*Warning: DO NOT install Quentin Preik's plugin AFTER you install this one, as it will corrupt the
files that this one is dependent on.*

ESM instructions:
*********************************
The ESM file is highly recomended over the traditional ESP for mods that add many new spawn points. Spawn points tend to duplicate over and over again in your save game, so you can end up with dozens of creatures where there should be only one. ESMs (master files) will not suffer from the "save game duplication bug".

1. Once installed, you will see a new file on your data files game launcher - "GIANTS_Dragons.esm"(masterfile)

2. Clean your save game from the previous version (if applicable, see below).

3. Check "GIANTS_Dragons.esm"

4. Play your game.

*********************************
CLEANING YOUR SAVE:
*********************************
Before you start your new version of GIANTS:DRAGONS you should first clean your save game to prevent problems with your game later on.

Cleaning your save game from the previous GIANTS_Dragons.esp :
This is done by going into a interior cell (preferably a small shack with no creatures in it at all) and saving your game. Exit MW. Before you start your game again UNcheck GIANTS_Dragons.esp from data files. Then load the save you just made. There will be many error messages so just ignore them and keep clicking yes to continue. Once done clicking save the game again. Exit MW. Now check your new GIANTS:DRAGONS in data files launcher. Load up the save and everything should be okay.

Note: To prevent the headache of clicking "yes" a thousand times I suggest you change your Morrowind.INI file with this little tweak. In the Morrowind/Data files folder find your Morrowind.ini file (always make a back-up when editing) and change these lines:
In the [General] section:

AllowYesToAll=1

set it to 0 (the default if the setting is not present) to turn off yes to all. This will add a "Yes To All" button to the warning popups.

::Tip::

Players with good skills with a "Spear" have the best advantage againts a Dragon at close range.

::Version Updates:::

v 1.2 - This file is now an ESM (master file) to prevent the Morrowind save game doubling bug. All textures are now .dds format thanks to Shadowsong from the TES forums.

v 1.1 - Made this mod much more challenging! Now the dragons get harder as you level up.
        Easier Dragons will get completley replaced with harder ones. The four basic
        dificulty settings for the dragons and the levels they begin to appear are as follows:

Level 16-22 - Normal Dragons
Level 23-32 - Normal Dragons and Mega-Dragons (about 3 times tougher)
Level 33-45 - Elder Dragons (Extremely tough)
Level 45 on - Giganoto-Dragons (almost god-like)

The Dragons now have "real-time" sound effects - moan, roar and scream.
The readme.txt from previous version was wrong dragons will now start to show up at level 16.

v 1.0a - Deleted a stray all-levels Dragon in the Ascadian Isles close to Vivec Foreign Quarter.

:::Bugs/issues:::

Email me with any bugs info.

These Dragons only fly.
The Dragons also use a looping sound file for their sounds. It is perfectly normal to continue to hear their
sounds when in menu mode or after you die.

I made this as a seperate "add-on" because I feel the current dragon model and animations are
not perfect yet so if you don't like the dragons you have the choice of not having them. In my
opinion, though they are somewhat stiff, they do satisfy that "need for dragons" that's been missing
from the ElderScroll's Games. If better and improved dragons become available later I will replace these
with those.
(Hmmm... still true, in a way.)
